Awakening our senses
I am convinced that by developing our focus we can greatly contribute to paying attention to the stimuli that affect us, evaluating them and doing something with them.
In the past few days, I have tried not only to blend in with the environment, but also to consciously pay attention to small stimuli, to small details, because by consciously developing focus, my sensitivity more and more developed.
Mostly we are bombed by visual and auditory stimuli. One could say, that nature is silent, which is actually not silence at all, but a huge hum. It looks like a big mess, but if you get close, you can observe so many small things. When listening at first, it's just a little background noise, but if you listen to it several times, you can pay attention to so many small details. This is a good exercise to consciously direct your attention. In this way, individual voices stand out from the background noise, which in any case results in harmony, at first sight the awakening nature is a brownish-green dead lawn carpet, bare branches, but if you get closer, you will immediately see the drops of beauty, you can hear diversity that you never imagined that existed.
Although the auditory and visual experience can best be reproduced, there is the pulsating movement, the smell of freshness, the life-giving rhythmicity of the water drops, so the experience will be complete, primal strength and energy is revealing and you just pulse together with nature.
What is the benefit of consciously directing attention to individual small stimuli? It is an exercise to be able to pay attention to external stimuli as well as to our internal happenings with sharpened ears, since our attention can be controlled. Let's start only with the external stimuli, gradually moving inwards, becoming aware of our vibrations, experiencing them, inhaling deeply from the slightly sharp, but all the more sobering spring air, slowly connecting to our little inner world. This is the only way we can develop new roots and not have the destiny of the ancient wooden house shown in the pictures, which cannot even cry out to connect with the human spirit again.
The fundamental characteristic of our existence is constant renewal, self-purification of the soul and body, the ability to get rid of destructive forces that can no longer be used, and, like nature, the growth of newer and newer shoots, with which we become stronger and stronger.
