Wake up call

Nature is just apparently quiet. It shows only a tiny sign of stretching from winter sleep. This is visible from afar. No or barely perceptible movement. Observed from the car clouds slide along the undulating lines of the forests, nothing special happens. But there is some mysterious force you feel, some energy that calls us closer to take a closer look at everything. Once I connect with nature, the tension that hides the explosive energy just attracts me anyway. Silence reveals that something big is happening, mother earth is slowly waking up her sons and daughters, sun caresses their sleepy faces more and more boldly.

Open your eyes, stretch wake up…

Contemplation can show the way and give answers. This is how it happened yesterday morning, when stepped out in the morning with sleepy eyes, and yellow daffodils waved to me to come closer and closer. Daffodils are narcissus genus flowers, and the name can be traced back to Greek mythology. Narcissus was the son of a nymph, who was a beautiful young man and whom many nymphs fell in love with, but he rejected everyone, including Echo. Through the intercession of the goddess Nemesis, Narcissus was cursed. Arriving at the bank of a river, Narcissus saw his own reflection and fell in love with himself, trying to embrace his reflection, but fell into the water and drowned. The next day, the nymphs rushing to its place found only a few yellow flowers. The daffodil is a symbol of self-adoration, but also of a new beginning.

Stretch out, wake up, wonder…

What did the narcissus tell me? Dare to look in the mirror, notice the good and the beautiful in ourselves, identify with it if we have forgotten it, so we can have a real smile on our faces, so the sunlight can smooth the wrinkles on our foreheads, we can be calmer, more confident, be honest with ourselves, be passionate about everyday life.

Let yourself believe that you are capable of more, that you can shine, let you get out of the comfortable mode. A wake-up call for you! The head of the narcissus is bent a little, look at yourself, see the beautiful, because only then will others discover the beautiful in you. And if you can do all this while maintaining your modesty, then your rebirth has already taken place.

Open your eyes, wonder, wake up and act…

Let love of yourself and others keep you alive like fresh raindrops keep alive daffodils.
