Perfect imperfection
Colorful leaves surrendered, frosty mornings and wind slowly caressed or brushed the trees.
Only bare branches are left, in their white, gray and brown shades. Imperfections and vulnerability takes the scene, what once was covered by vivid green colors and then turned into magical colors is gone, what remained is the truth behind the surface.
There are no two identical trees, individual shapes are contoured, the sight sends my thoughts to our existence.
Our appearances, our visible outfit, our seen behavior so many times covers willingly and unwillingly our true selves, some may never reveal their imperfections, wounds nor their beautiful souls.
As some branches are cut off the trees, so does life cut off some of our branches. That can be a life event, a relationship, fate.
The forming effect on crowns by nature and humans apply to our lives as well, as we involuntarily shape each other, sometimes adapting to new conditions, sometimes suppressing. And the effects are reflected on individual construction of our crowns.
As weather rich in rainfall and sunlight help trees to grow, so do constructive relationships that are part of our lives, but as bad weather reduces development, so do those relationships that drain our energy, so that we can’t grow or one of our branch breaks.
Each of our branch is shaped by fate, living conditions having huge effect on our development.
One thing is for sure, we could take an example from trees:
in accepting our naked nature, our imperfections and losses, experiencing emotions that life events generate • showing our true self not what we would like to be • letting go with autumn leaves those things that no longer serve us • always drawing new strengths from our roots for the next day • appreciating every little success we experience in our lives • appreciating every positive gesture that people show towards us • developing our crown in such way as to allow the trees growing next to us to develop as well • taking the example of how to rest, slowing down and listening to our voice • resonating with the caressing wind • not giving up in the storms, believing that we our roots are strong enough to save us • enjoying caressing sunlight and lukewarm rain • withstand hot sun and frosty snow • not braking off under heavy snow
The only way we can get to spring every year, bringing flowers, growing roots and new branches, enjoying present can be achieved by accepting our imperfections, not wanting to look different than we truly are.
Our uniqueness comes from our imperfections, that can become our strength and source to our graciousness.
